The kindergarten day begins earlier than the younger grades; it is from 8:30am to 12:00pm. Many children stay for After School Enrichment Classes and Picnic.
The kindergarten program is designed to accommodate kindergarten age eligible children. This program offers a rich integrated curriculum introducing children to an expansive variety of science and social studies themes. Children write their own stories, keep a journal, and participate in Readers Theater throughout the year. Instruction is individualized to allow for the wide range of skills and abilities with the goal of creating life-long learners. The curriculum is age appropriate, while allowing each child the opportunity to build their social skills and promote mindful interactions.
We offer one kindergarten class, Monday-Friday. The class has 14 children with a teacher and an aide. Children must be 5 years by September 1st.
