The transitional kindergarten (TK) day is from 8:45am to 12:00pm.  Many children stay for After School Enrichment Classes and Picnic.

Similar to the nursery classroom, the TK classes encourage the children to learn through play, but with greater emphasis on experienced-based learning. Children engage in a range of teacher directed and child initiated activities designed to build a strong foundation for school. TK classes introduce letter sound relations, number sense, beginning name writing, and the award winning Handwriting Without Tears. They experiment with science and explore with art. The children learn to work together to solve problems, develop critical thinking skills, and to become aware of the environment outside of the home. Our TK develop a strong sense of self and respect for others.

We offer three transitional kindergarten (TK) classes, Monday-Friday. All classes have 12 children per class with a teacher and an aide. Children must be 4 years by September 1st.
